There are some great rowing jobs on offer for coaches at this time of year. We have highlighted four of the best from Imperial College, Cambridge University Boat Club, Putney High School and Emanuel School.
Cambridge University Boat Club
The search is on for a high performing coach to fill a newly expanded role at the heart of Cambridge University Rowing. This is an exciting role for a coach who wishes to work with and develop highly ambitious student-athletes to compete on a global stage in the biggest university sporting event in the world.
Reporting to the Chair of the Performance Advisory Group, the new role of Chief Coach of Women and Lightweights will oversee the year-round development and performance programme for the open-weight women, lightweight men and women, 4 Boat Race Crews who race in the Tideway Boat Races and the Henley Boat Races.
The Chief Coach of Women and Lightweights will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, high-level coaching and will build on our development pathway for those new to rowing at university. The Chief Coach will lead a highly professional team of Coaches and Support Staff all supported by our Administrator.

Putney High School Boat Club
Putney High School is looking to recruit a full-time rowing coach to join the team to coach all squads with particular focus on developing our senior athletes.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about rowing with previous coaching experience and who has a very good understanding of the sport and who will build upon the very high standards of this successful boat club. The right candidate will continue to promote and develop the school’s successful rowing programme and support the environment of sporting excellence for the young women of Putney High School.
In January 2016, the school opened its very own Boathouse; the first and only all-female boat club along the River Thames. The Boat Club provides a state of the art training facility which continues to develop our athletes. Part of the Girls’ Day School Trust group of schools, Putney High School is one of the UK’s leading schools, and has earned a reputation for excellence in sport across the school.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in developing our sportswomen of the future by inspiring girls at all levels to develop their love for rowing. We are seeking a coach to support the Head of Rowing coach girls of all ages and abilities, in the club’s exciting phase of expanding numbers every year, on our journey to being one of the most successful all-female boat clubs nationally.

Imperial College London
Sport Imperial is looking to appoint a Head of Rowing to oversee the extensive coaching and rowing development programme at the prestigious Imperial College Boathouse, Putney Embankment, London.
The post holder will have responsibility for the recruitment, retention and management of the pool of coaching staff based at the Boathouse. He/she will coordinate all coaching activities and develop a strategic approach to rowing coaching for a range of crews/groups from novice to elite. Reporting to the Head of Sport and liaising closely with the Boathouse Facility Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the continued development, management and success of the Boathouse.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the British Rowing High-Performance Centre based at the Boathouse and also the development of the Imperial College students enrolled on the Imperial College Rowing Scholarship Scheme.

Emanuel School London
Emanuel School is looking to recruit an inspirational,high-qualityy rowing coach, with the qualifications and experience to lead our boys rowing crews. This role will start from the autumn term 2018.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a real passion for rowing, combined with experience of leading youth crews to successful outcomes. They will hold a level 2 UKCC coaching award (or equivalent), and will be able to demonstrate the confidence and personality to engage pupils, parents and teachers alike.
