Sunrise rowers teach us that team spirit is ageless

This is a nice video short from University of Washington about the senior masters who train most mornings at 5.00am. The Ancient Mariners Rowing Club, started by a group of ex-University of Washington rowers, is based at Seattle’s Pocock rowing centre on Lake Union. The oldest member, Tom Olson started at Washington University in 1958 and was coached by Al Ulbrickson Snr. Ulbrickson coached the Washington crew that won Olympic Gold medal at Berlin in 1936, documented in the book “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown.
