CITYROW joins the indoor rowing app trend
CITYROW, a New York boutique fitness studio, has entered the indoor rowing app market. The company has just launched CITYROW GO, an on-demand rowing experience that uses an adapted Water Rower, the machine of choice for Frank Underwood in House of Cards. This comes on the back of the recent launch by CREW of a dedicated machine, screen and live & library on-water streamed sessions.
According to the press release, “consumers will benefit from an elevated workout experience that allows them to seamlessly pair their rower and app to stream app content.” CITYROW GO’s video content is overlaid with live workout data which is viewed on an iOS (Apple) device or cast to a screen. Your workout data is stored within the app which enables users to set weekly goals, compete against personal records, and track progress with each class taken.
Beginning today, consumers can order CITYROW GO online at go.cityrow.com. The CITYROW GO Machine by WaterRower is priced at $1,395 and a subscription to the CITYROW GO app is $19 per month or $180 annually.
Helaine Knapp, founded CITYROW in 2014 and is currently trading from three locations in New York with 30 franchised locations about to open. “In today’s on-demand world, we want to bring the magic of CITYROW classes to consumers across the country. With our incredible new rower and app experience, CITYROW GO allows consumers nationwide who can’t get to a class or studio to get the signature CITYROW burn from the comfort of their own home.”
